REVV X StuG Tsar 112 Custom

TRY IT

The REVV X StuG Tsar 112 Custom is an Artist-Series Capture from REVV® and House of Worship legend Stu G, inspired by – and captured from – a Benson® Monarch 1×12 cab outfitted with a Benson® Custom Ceramic 30W driver.

For those in the know, Stu G is an icon in contemporary House of Worship circles, with a career spanning three decades defining the sound of worship guitar. His chimey tones and acclaimed arrangements can be heard in the British group “Delirious?”, The US group “One Sonic Society,” and as guitarist with Michael W. Smith. Stu’s pivotal roles accompanying a diverse spectrum of artists see his tone widely regarded as second to none, immediately identifiable and exacting for the song at hand.

For the initiated, Benson®’s line of Amplifiers and Cabinets are a must have for purveyors of immaculate cleans and sultry sonic breakup when notching up the gain. This capture takes inspiration from a proprietary Benson® Custom Ceramic 30W driver sourced and engineered in conjunction with the tone-smiths at Weber®; with some tweaks to Weber®’s stock assortment, the Benson® Custom driver was born and boy it doesn’t disappoint! Featuring British-inspired voicing akin to the iconic G12H-30, expect a boisterous low-end and powerful low-mids all capped with upper mid-range attack and crystalline highs. The premier Benson® 1×12 enclosure adds sublime dispersion and a focused tone with resonance in all the right places – tuned to perfection, it’s a sure-fire guarantee to get the very best out of the companion driver.

Captured at Nashville’s legendary Blackbird Studios, the REVV X StuG Tsar 112 Custom has been expertly recorded using stellar recording peripherals and a mic collection that guarantees immediate adoption from the studio to the stage.
