GENOME 1.6

New features

  • GENOME’s full (non-Beta) Standalone Application is now available for download, included as part of GENOME’s package installers accessible here
  • GENOME’s Standalone and Plugin Applications now include full MIDI Support
  • GENOME’s Default RIG Builder view, upon selecting and instantiating a RIG from the RIG Browser, focuses on the related Amplifier(s) and Cabinets within the RIG
  • A New Factory RIG Bank featuring GENOME’s updated Stock Component Arsenal is available

Please note: for existing GENOME License Holders, GENOME’s RIG library will not automatically update; for users with active GENOME Licenses prior to the release of GENOME v1.6, please download the updated Factory RIG Bank here. For new GENOME License holders post the v1.6 release, GENOME’s RIG arsenal will automatically default to the New Factory RIG Bank.

Bug Fixes

  • The WahBaby PEDAL Component now features improved audio and curve response
  • Various stability, performance, workflow and UI improvements

  • A fix has been implemented for users reporting audio discrepancies when changing channels on Premium TSM-Ai™ Amplifiers

  • Performance enhancements for users reporting UI-centric discrepancies when running multiple instances of GENOME have been implemented
  • A fix has been implemented for users reporting failed log-in attempts when entering spaces before or after login credentials
  • An issue reported by some users relating to a reversed slope parameter on the STUDIO Delay has been addressed
  • An issue reported by some ProTools users where bypassing GENOME on a Mono track results in a left Mono signal only has been addressed
  • An issue reported by some users where CODEX maintains a Mono/Stereo downmix when bypassed has been addressed
  • A significantly improved upsampling strategy has been implemented within CODEX
  • Various other performance and workflow enhancements

GENOME 1.1

CODEX

  • A Mono Mode has been implemented offering the following input configuration options: Stereo to Mono Mixdown (by default), Mono From Left, Mono From Right, Stereo 
  • Proteus Dynamic Knob captures can now be used in CODEX
  • NAM captures with any sample rate can now be instantiated in CODEX
  • The following captures and tonestacks have been added to CODEX’s stock arsenal:
    • 10 Proteus Dynamic Knob Captures
    • 4 NAM Feather Captures 
    • 4 NAM Captures
    • 5 New Tone Stack models
    • A new CODEX Preset is available featuring neutral settings for 1:1 audio processing

Architectural

  • Information windows to inform irreversible actions have now been implemented 
  • An Information window for Bank Backup when overwriting any of GENOME’s Banks has now been implemented
  • GENOME’s internal Oversampling settings are now set to Off by default
  • A one-time GENOME Update availability information window has now been implemented

Bug Fixes

  • An issue reported by some users where CODEX’s Gain parameter fails to correlate with saved settings on project startup has been addressed 
  • Various workflow, stability and performance enhancements
